The Giving Institute believes in the power of philanthropy to positively impact our communities. Through its support of policy initiatives that advance philanthropy across the United States at the federal, state, and local levels, the Giving Institute strengthens the fabric of the nonprofit sector and empowers donors and volunteers to engage in their respective communities. The Giving Institute’s Public Policy Committee, comprised of institute members, monitors state and federal public policy initiatives that impact philanthropy and the nonprofit sector with the ultimate goal of educating and informing Giving Institute members.
