With the coming release of the Giving USA 2021 Annual Report in June and the Summer Symposium on July 22-24 in Washington, DC, we have much to which to look forward.
The Giving USA Annual Report will be released to the public on June 15. In the next two months, we’ll be distributing resources to our member firms with exclusive information that will help them share the report’s findings with their clients after the embargo lifts on release day. Keep an eye on our resources page for more updates and email info@givinginstitute.org if anyone at your firm needs a member login to access the page.
There’s also growing excitement focused on our first in-person event in more than fifteen months. The Summer Symposium theme is, “Resilience, Hope, and Community.” Our educational sessions will cover the future of the sector, supplier engagement, staff wellness, data ethics, public policy, and more. There will be social events and extra time to allow you to reconnect with your colleagues. Don’t forget to share the Golden Ticket with any non-member firms you think would benefit from attending – check your email for further details.
At our board meetings just before the Symposium, we’ll discuss the draft Strategic Plan that Cedric Richner and his committee have been developing and we’ll hear from the DEIA task force, which has been intensifying its work under the leadership of Peter Fissinger and Dwayne Ashley.
Let’s also please welcome RNL, our newest member firm as you encounter them in person or online in the coming months.
