Dear The Giving Institute members,
As we move into the holiday season and express gratitude for so many blessings in our lives and work, I want to recognize you, the members of The Giving Institute and supporters of Giving USA Foundation, for your achievements and contributions to our organization. Whatever successes we achieve are due to the ways that each of you help your clients, work with the Institute and Foundation and think about the future of our profession.
Thanks again to all those who attended our November Board Meeting and Mentor Series in Chicago; a terrific turnout and great reviews from participants.
During the November Meeting, we conducted a webcast to mark the release of Giving USA Foundation’s latest Special Report, Leaving a Legacy: A New Look at Today’s Planned Giving Donors. Planned giving has been an understudied area of philanthropy and so we are thrilled to provide this study’s valuable data and insights to those who wish to improve their legacy giving programs.
We plan to continue to expand thought leadership from The Giving Institute and Giving USA Foundation. We’ll continue to promote groundbreaking research in philanthropy, not only with our upcoming Giving USA Annual Report, but also through our supplemental research and online presence. To achieve our goals, we’ll rely on the support and contributions of our member firms, including our newest members.
Let’s extend a warm welcome to Lindauer, MarketSmart, M. Gale & Associates and Brewer Direct as the latest additions to The Giving Institute.
We’re headed into a great new 2020.
Sincerely,
Ted Grossnickle
